Ts. Areej Taufik (b. 1990) is a professional food technologist by training, but her true calling as an artist emerged during her first pregnancy. What began as a personal coping mechanism has since blossomed into a deeply therapeutic and fulfilling passion. Areej's art is a vibrant world of colorful abstracts, alongside serene landscapes and botanical impressions, all inspired by the beauty of nature and the intricacies of human connection. While her foundational training was in watercolour and oil painting, acrylics have since become her primary and favorite medium. More recently, she has also explored digital art, creating illustrations of her favorite subjects - cats and food - and enhancing her abstract paper artworks.
